WELCOME TO ISSELE-UKU

Association of North America

I wish to welcome you to our website and thank you for taking time out to access information on our website. This organization is comprised of persons who are sons, daughters, wives and individuals born in Issele-Uku, Aniocha North Local Government Area, Delta State, Nigeria, who presently reside in North America (United States and Canada). Persons either of whose parents or grandparents can trace their origins to Issele-Uku are also eligible for membership if they are interested.

The Association was formally launched in June 2006 in Atlanta, Georgia and we have had conventions in Houston, Texas, Austin Texas, Atlanta Georgia and this year we will be having our convention once again in Atlanta, Georgia.

Issele-Uku Association of North America, Inc is a non-profit organization under section 501(c)(3) of the United States Internal Revenue Code. All donations to the Issele-Uku Association of North America, Inc. are deductible.

MISSION STATEMENT

 Issele-Uku Association of North America exists to sustain our rich cultural heritage; to maintain cordial relations with one another and to empower our community by giving support for educational, economic and security assistance necessary for growth and development in our community.

2017 UPCOMING CONVENTION

 2017 Biennial National Convention, Atlanta, GA; Aug 11-13, 2017

The Issele-Uku Association of North America, Inc. will be having its biennial national convention in Atlanta, Georgia, USA from August 11 – 13, 2017 at the Atlanta Marriott Northwest at Galleria in Atlanta, Georgia.

The theme of this year’s convention will focus on “Generating Support for Healthcare Awareness and Screening for People in Issele-Uku.”

Over the years, the biennialconvention has provided an exciting opportunity for Issele-Uku families based in Northern America (United States and Canada) to convene, promote our unique culture, and develop progressive initiatives to benefit Issele-Uku people.

We look forward to having you at the convention on August 11, 2017.
